Here’s what Bill Ryan, Director of Information Technology at Evergreen had to say when interviewed about their recent SAP solution implementation with YASH.
YASH – Why was it important for Evergreen Solar to have a rapid enterprise deployment of SAP?
Bill Ryan - In the solar industry, demand currently exceeds supply. To capitalize on this opportunity, Evergreen is planning for rapid capacity expansion. We needed to get up and running quickly and efficiently.
YASH – The solution was implemented in 12 weeks. What were the criteria in selecting a partner?
Bill Ryan – Besides proven, advanced expertise in implementing the SAP Business Suite for multiple languages, multiple locations, and multiple business areas, we needed a partner that understood the need to satisfy the Sarbanes-Oxley requirements. We only had 12 weeks to do this and we needed to get it right the first time.
YASH – S-Imple was used as the implementation methodology. What were some of the benefits to Evergreen Solar?
Bill Ryan - YASH was key in helping us understand the benefits of implementing SAP in the first place. They knew that SAP's All-in-One solutions were already tied to industry verticals. They used best practices and modified the solution to address what was unique to our organization. There was no need for extensive customization.
