The GCREP-GL Green Certification course is approved in 15 states and 3 more states pending for continuing education credits for those who practice in the real estate arena. Green Real Estate Education was was originated in 2006 establishing the first level of The Real Estate Environmental and Energy Education Certification Series. The title of the Level One certification is the Green Certified Real Estate Professional and Green Leadership. This certification series is exclusively for the real estate industry educating on energy efficiency, sustainability and green building relating to each of the 4 major disciplines, Real Estate Professionals, Appraisers, Inspectors and Mortgage Professionals.
The series is being created and written in cooperation with leading experts and by the president of the company, Kerry Mitchell, a seasoned real estate professional with over 14 years of experience having completed 400 transactions in her career. Their Home Inspector course and the certification GCHI-GL Green Certified Home Inspector Green Leadership is approved for 4 hours of CE by ASHI and NAHI and was given at the annual convention for National Association of Home Inspectors on September 7, 2008. Approved in 15 states for continuing education credits, the company will continue its mission of educating the real estate arena."
