Event dedicated to the British Franchise Industry, which will take place at the Crowne Plaza Hotel Birmingham NEC (UK) on 2 October 2008. This Franchise Day will include B2B meetings and conferences involving a range of consultants and experts in the field, on the occasion of the National Franchise Exhibition.
The event is free to attend and will take place on 2 October 2008 in Birmingham (in England), on the occasion of the National Franchise Exhibition, which brings together key players from the franchising sector and the networked commerce industry.
As part of the B2B meetings, five French companies are already slated to attend; they are all looking for potentially interested investors and master franchisees based in the UK. The event in Birmingham represents a unique opportunity for debates and negotiations to take place among well-established French franchisors and British specialists of the franchise industry, such as consultants, financial and legal experts, as well as real-estate specialists.
Companies due to attend in the building sector are listed below; more details on each of the French participants are available upon request.
The strength and success of the concept developed by L’Echelle Européenne lies within the idea of offering – on the same premises – all the products that enable members of the public (and the trades) to climb, to work, to move about, or to be stationary at height, and in complete safety. When it comes to scaffolding, L’Echelle Européenne is particularly committed to the development of aluminium scaffolding on wheels, which represents a rapidly growing product line. Established in 1990, the company’s franchise network consists, today, in 60 retail outlets across Europe.
As the first-ever network of building brokers in France, Illicotravaux meets people’s expectations. As is well known, having work done in one’s house is no simple matter and can be terribly time-consuming. Thanks to its comprehensive address book, Illicotravaux provides its clients with a selection of building contractors’ quotes at short notice and helps home owners and occupiers make the right decision at the right time, with the minimum of complications to them. With more than 140 brokers, Illicotravaux covers a large territory and currently has a total of 7,500 building contractors on its books, serving approximately 70,000 clients. The concept is easily transferrable to markets other than France, including the UK.
The Trade Section of the French Embassy in London promotes trade development between France and the UK by offering different types of services to French companies. The Consumer Goods Department organises B2B events in the form of conferences and networking opportunities, mainly in London.
