Chevy Chase, MD, United States, 09/03/2008 - Williams Mullen partner, Camden Webb, a commercial and financial services litigation attorney has been awarded the honor of 2008 Triangle Mover and Shaker by Business Leader Magazine for his impact on ensuring the success of the firm and his clients.

Williams Mullen announced today that Camden Webb was recognized as one of the 2008 Triangle Mover & Shakers by Business Leader Magazine. The award honors individuals who have made an impact on both their company and the community. Winners must either be an executive or an up-and-coming leader within the company.

Camden was nominated for the award by Keith Kapp, managing partner of Williams Mullen’s Raleigh office.

About Camden Webb
Camden Webb focuses his practice on commercial and financial services litigation. He has appeared in the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals, North Carolina’s federal district and bankruptcy courts, the North Carolina Court of Appeals, the majority of North Carolina’s state judicial districts, and has appeared in various other state and federal courts as associated counsel.
Prior to joining Williams Mullen, Camden served as an U.S. Army judge advocate in Korea and Fort Bragg, N.C., where he practiced consumer law and administrative law, and was a trial lawyer for two years.
Licensed to practice in North Carolina, Camden is a member of the North Carolina State Bar and the North Carolina and American bar associations, where he serves on the Commercial and Business Litigation Committee as UCC Sub-Committee co-chair, the Committee on Consumer Financial Services, and the Committee on Financial Institution Litigation. In addition, he is active in the Conference on Consumer Finance Law, the Defense Research Institute and the North Carolina Association of Defense Attorneys.
Camden is also active in the community, currently serving as president of the Leadership Raleigh Alumni Association and serves on the board of directors for Junior Achievement of Eastern North Carolina. He was a member of the board of directors for the Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce from 2006 to 2007 and served as the chairman for the Leadership Raleigh 2001-02 program, and is a member of the Crabtree Rotary Club.
A graduate of the University of Richmond, Camden earned his bachelor of arts degree, magna cum laude, and his juris doctor degree, with honors, from the University of North Carolina.
