On October 11th, TVS Boxing.Net is televising the Boxing Illustrated Middleweight Championship fight with 15-1-1 Joey Gilbert, formerly seen on The Contender.
The Silver Nugget Casino, located at the top of the Las Vegas Strip, has a long history of boxing. Its Silver Nugget Event Center, a 14,000 sq. ft. facility, has been renovated under new ownership.
Richard Steele is the Boxing Hall of Famer known for refereeing so many major fights the past two decades. Now a promoter, Steele runs a boxing gym in North Las Vegas and is scheduling five fights each month with an eye on developing top talent in Las Vegas.
"Las Vegas has not had a regular club fight venue since the Silver Slipper," said Steele. "This is needed in Las Vegas so these young fighters can get a chance to develop and hopefully become champions. To be able to show them off on TVS Boxing.Net makes this even more attractive to these young rising stars."
