Kevin Woody, manager of the Coldwell Banker Howard Perry and Walston Southpoint office, has announced that the organization is hosting the Third Annual HPW Golf Challenge benefiting the HPW foundation, Coldwell Banker Howard Perry and Walston’s nonprofit organization that supports local charities. The event will be held on Thursday, Sept. 18 at 1 pm. at the Preserve at Jordan Lake Golf Club, located at 840 The Preserve Trail in Chapel Hill. Dinner and live entertainment will follow the golf challenge.
“The Howard Perry and Walston Foundation was established in order to create opportunities for employees and sales associates to support charitable and nonprofit organizations in their local communities,” said Woody. “The Annual HPW Golf Challenge is a great way for our associates to show their support to the local community.”

Don Walston, one of Coldwell Banker Howard Perry and Walston’s founders, formed the HPW Foundation in the late 1990’s so that sales associates and employees could have a forum, through the company, for serving the communities in which they live. Since its inception, the HPW Foundation has given more than $688,000 to local, not-for-profit organizations to benefit countless individuals throughout the Triangle. Recipients include Habitat for Humanity, Susan G.
