The 1 year anniversary is great news for CheckOutMyTrip.com in an industry where many new sites fold within 6 months of release. CheckOutMyTrip anticipates a warm welcome for the new release of the site. The new release has incorporated changes and updates that have been requested by current members of the site. Current Members should not worry though... CheckOutMyTrip has taken measures to ensure existing favorite features are still built into the new release.

CheckOutMyTrip.com plans to include all current features in the new release, but incorporate many new upgrades. The new upgrades will include multi-photo upload, a re-designed member control panel, private video upload, media packages (audio & video add-ins), keepsake DVD's, High quality - Hi Resolution Photo Upload, CheckOutMyTrip swag, automated email updates, and more.
The new release is going to include all new member templates and themes for the personal travel sites. CheckOutMyTrip also plans on implementing a visitor rating system for the travel sites and placing "best of" badges on the top vote getters in various fields of interest (best travel journals, best travel videos, best personal travel websites, best travel photos, best travel blogs, etc).
Have no fear, the release of CheckOutMyTrip 2.0 does not mark the end of upgrades and new development. Check Out My Trip plans on taking feedback from the new release and will begin development of version 3.0 beginning in November of 2008.
