When former ‘Contender’ and College Champion Joey Gilbert (15-1-1) fights for the Boxing Illustrated Middleweight Championship at the Corn Palace in Mitchell, South Dakota on Saturday, September 11, it will be one of three championship fights going on across the globe that evening.
A half a world away on the same day, in Berlin - Samuel Peter (30-1, 23 KOs) and Vitali Klitschko (35-2, 34 KOs) will fight 12 rounds for the WBC heavyweight title
Meanwhile, in Las Vegas the IBF light heavyweight title between Antonio Tarver (27-4, 19 KOs) vs. Chad Dawson (26-0, 17 KOs) concludes an amazing day in the boxing world.
The Corn Palace fight for the Boxing Illustrated belt will be seen live worldwide on TVS Boxing.Net, the first full time boxing TV channel. The other two championships will be seen on Showtime.
Also fighting at the Corn Palace will be unbeaten Lightweight star Kermit ‘Bazooka Gonzalez (6-0-1)in the Boxing Illustrated Lightweight Showcase Cup and former UFC heavyweight champion Ricco Rodriquez (1-1) in his quest to be a champion in both boxing and MMA.

The fight will also be seen on a video on demand basis on the sports channel of TV4U.Com, the 42 channel advertising supported free internet TV service. Both TVS and TV4U are owned and operated by Margate Entertainment LLC, a Nevada based media company. Boxing Illustrated Magazine, sponsor of the title bout is also owned and operated by Margate.
