Jay Samit, former EVP and GM at Sony said “Shahnazarian produced over 350 live and in-studio recordings at Sony. These amazing performances from some of today's biggest artists including The Killers, Taylor Swift, Snow Patrol, John Legend, Kelly Clarkson and Crosby/Nash wouldn't have been possible without his unassuming production style. He always provided artists with a creative space to feel both confident and unrestricted, the end result being compelling live music that fans will cherish forever.”
Most recently, film director Mark David, signed Shahnazarian to produce the music for Buffalo Speedway Film Company’s feature film American Cowslip, a dark comedy currently in post production, due out summer 2008. The film boasts a cast of 8 Academy Award nominees including Val Kilmer, Ronnie Gene Blevins, Dianne Ladd, Rip Torn, Peter Falk, Bruce Dern, Priscilla Barnes, and Hanna Hall. Shahnazarian has also been in the studio with recording artists The Library, producing/engineering their debut album for release in early 2009.
