Digital creative agency Collective today unveils the first stage of Honda’s brand-driven digital campaign - ‘Pass the Jazz’ - that has been developed for the new Honda Jazz launching 17 October 2008. A teaser microsite has gone live enabling drivers to submit their Jazz stories and photos.
Jazz drivers will be given the chance to takeover the car’s homepage to talk about how the car is an important part of their lives, and encourage others to experience it for themselves. This is the first time that Honda has turned a car homepage over to its customers, reinforcing the concept of brand advocacy which sits at the heart of the ‘Pass the Jazz’ campaign.
Central to ‘Pass the Jazz’ and all online activity is the ability for potential customers to live with the Jazz for 24 hours by registering for a test drive.
Jonny Freeman, Digital Marketing Manager at Honda comments: “Honda understands that its customers want to hear genuine opinions from real people, and the Jazz has always had strong, positive support from its drivers. The ‘Pass the Jazz’ campaign will tap into this and enable us to give something back to our loyal customers.”
Greg Doone, Managing Director of Collective, adds: “We have been the lead agency behind Honda’s digital strategy for the past five years, and with each campaign we always try to set a new benchmark. We understand the importance of brand advocacy, and the campaign will help to give Jazz customers a powerful voice.”
