In its third year designing in-house, Buffalo Exchange won two silver ADDYs and a bronze ADDY from the Tucson Advertising Federation on Feb 18, 2006, sweeping the consumer regional/national mixed media campaign and web/online campaign categories.
The silver awards were for Buffalo Exchange’s 2005 ads and signage, including pieces for the company’s New York City and New Orleans stores, and for Buffalo Exchange’s web/online fashion features for the past year at buffaloexchange.com. This is the first time the in-house web features were entered in a competition. The bronze ADDY was for Buffalo Exchange’s store identity package, including the new gift card, employee badges, dressing room numbers, and tokens for bags signage. Buffalo Exchange’s in-house design duo is composed of Michelle L. Livingston, creative direction, and Kristin L. Welk, graphic design.
They have now won a total of four silver ADDYs and six bronze ADDYs for Buffalo Exchange. The ADDYs are the advertising industry's largest and most representative competition, recognizing and rewarding creative excellence in the art of advertising. Entries considered outstanding and worthy of recognition receive a silver ADDY.
