Williams Language Solutions Ltd, which provides translations, language training, and international communications modules from North East England, has laid out ambitious growth plans after meeting Virtual-OMS founder Lea Wray. Born in the Netherlands, and fluent in her native Dutch as well as in English and German, Lea Wray has over 24 years senior office experience.
Stefania De Angelis Williams, director of Williams Language Solutions, explains: “When I saw Lea’s profile on LinkedIn.com, the online network of experienced professionals from all around the world, I realised the great potential in forming a cluster with Virtual-OMS. By working together, we will be able to meet the requirements of our clients in the North when they need services in the South and vice versa. We will also be able to address translation requirements in more languages and together we will solve the challenges of international communications in all countries of Europe".
Clusters are groups of companies and related organisations that collaborate to grow their business. Using this collaborative team approach allows businesses, regions and interest groups to develop greater speed, quality, and innovation and to increase the range of their services by keeping their identity.
“Business Etiquette is part of the language marketing strategy offered to our clients, together with translation of press releases, company documents, products catalogues and website localisation”, continues Stefania, “and it is also one of the main services offered by Virtual-OMS. We are planning to offer a service of Meet and Greet at airports for foreign contacts, from Newcastle to London, minimising travel expenses thanks to our combined presence in the North and in the South.”
“Our businesses complement each other on several areas and directions”, adds Lea Wray of Virtual-OMS. “I am a great believer in collaboration, and I can see a great potential for everyone in working together with Stefania and her team”.
Williams Language Solutions is also talking to an interpreting service in Budapest, to support UK clients doing business with Hungary. “Many executives feel the need to travel with an interpreter to overcome language barriers”, says Stefania. “Forming a cluster with a language service at the place of destination will cut costs for the clients, and we can guarantee the same quality of the service they have directly from us in the UK”.
