The Hurricane Doors are designed to provide the ultimate defense against hurricanes without the use of shutters. They are manufactured using laminated glass with a strong interlayer that absorbs the impact of airborne objects while preventing shattering. The Dominator™ door system is laboratory-tested to an incredible design pressure of 135 psf, easily exceeding industry performance standards. This superior door system utilizes a heavy-gauge extruded aluminum construction combined with a "vault-like" multi-point locking mechanism to create an impenetrable barrier against noise, rain, snow and high winds. The unique glass and aluminum balcony doors have been designed so they can blend with existing structures, both commercial and residential, by incorporating anodized and/or custom color finishes. They feature elegant European- styled hardware in a variety of styles and finishes including solid brass, brushed chrome and satin nickel to name a few.
