Oeko-Tex will present “Taking the Confusion Out of Certification” at the 11th Annual Industry Event seminar created by FabricLink and Textile Insight. Dina Dunn, who will be presenting on behalf of Oeko-Tex, will also participate on a panel to discuss certification and its importance to consumers and retailers.
“Many textile companies are not sure how to initiate the certification process, especially within a complex global supply chain,” says Dunn. “In my presentation I will share why certification is important, what makes the Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certification so unique, and the benefits that certification provides to manufacturers, retailers, and consumers.”
“We have had significant interest expressed in this year’s topic,” says Kathy Swantko, the president of FabricLink Network and founder of the Industry Event. “As consumers demand certified textile products, our industry needs to respond effectively. We are pleased that Oeko-Tex, with their years of experience and credibility in textile certification, will share their knowledge with attendees.”
