Amina Technologies Introduces New AIWX Series Invisible Speakers

Cincinnati, OH, United States, 07/22/2008 - The new AIWX range of speakers has been developed in conjunction with the proprietary APU2 protection unit for a complete invisible sound solution.
Amina Technologies is pleased to announce the launch of their new AIWX range of invisible Plaster In-wall loudspeakers and the all new and proprietary APU2 protection unit. This new development has allowed Amina to extend the standard warranty period for the AIW speakers by over 40% to an industry leading ten years.
Located between the amplifier and the AIWX speakers, the APU2 unit provides a High Pass filter facility as well as DC blocking to protect the plastered in speaker. The APU2 has also been developed to directly address future situations, after installation, where amplifiers are replaced or a new resident acquires the property in which the speakers are installed. This protection unit also features an integral auto-reset thermal fuse which prevents users from inadvertently over-driving the plastered in speakers.
Provided the AIWX loudspeaker and the APU2 are installed correctly (which is a very straight forward process) and the system is properly matched with the amplifier and electronics, the result is an extremely reliable and long-term invisible sound solution.
The new 10 year warranty runs from date of purchase for 10 years and is available on all speakers in the AIWX range that are installed by Certified Amina Dealers according to the manufacturer’s guidelines. The new range is compatible and complementary to the existing AIW range.
