Version 5.5 of the Document Management solution provides a robust framework for policy and procedure management including policy definition, policy documentation, change management, communication and awareness programs and training management. The release also includes powerful tools for monitoring and documenting policy acceptance and compliance. These elements are assuming significant importance as companies implement an integrated, enterprise-wide architecture for effective corporate governance, risk management, regulatory compliance and quality management.
This release also introduces a distributed server architecture to accelerate performance for large, globally dispersed organizations. Other key enhancements in this release include highly flexible routing of documents, improved document navigation and organization and seamless integration with external applications and processes. Built on the latest MetricStream Enterprise Compliance Platform (ECP) version 5.5, this release leverages several advanced capabilities of the ECP including Scalable Repositories, Integration framework, and newer versions of the underlying Technology Stack. These innovations deliver enhanced usability and flexibility to make it significantly easier to build, configure and deploy document management business processes and workflows.
Document management and control is central to effective functioning of an organization and involves managing a wide variety of documents including standard operating procedures (SOPs), process narratives, regulatory filings, quality records and compliance documentation.
