Mimosa Systems, a leader in live content archiving solutions, today announced that it has been selected as one of two finalists for the Microsoft Partner of the Year award in the category ISV/Software Solutions. The Microsoft Partner Program Awards recognize Microsoft partners who have developed and delivered exceptional Microsoft-based solutions over the past year.

Awards will be presented in a number of categories, with winners chosen from a pool of more than 2,000 entrants worldwide. The ISV/Software Solutions Partner of the Year award recognizes the ISV competency partner that excels at developing and delivering packaged software to customers. The winning partner’s software solution works together with one or more of the latest Microsoft server-based platforms and middleware products including Microsoft SQL Server 2005, Windows Server 2003, Microsoft BizTalk Server 2006, Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007, Microsoft Business Solutions (all products and versions), Information Worker and Microsoft Exchange Server 2007. The partner’s solution is also built using Microsoft .NET development framework(s) and tools including Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 or Visual Studio 2008. A qualified ISV software solution helps customers make better-informed decisions and facilitate effective collaboration with colleagues, customers, and partners.
