Kevin Backer, a ten year veteran of Time Warner Cable, will receive the ASTD Trainer of the Year Award at the association’s annual breakfast awards ceremony on June 13 at the Classics V Banquet Center in Amherst. Kevin will be recognized for developing an instructional strategy that effectively integrated new content, practical application of learning and assessment into a 3-day class to train technicians on how to install Time Warner Cable’s new digital home phone product.
