London, United Kingdom, 2008/06/11 - Amra, Trinity Mirror’s regional specialist publisher, boosts revenues with targeted auction results.
AdJug Ltd, the online advertising marketplace where advertisers and publishers can buy and sell ads directly, today announces that Amra, the UK’s leading national advertising sales company for the regionals, has joined its rapidly expanding service, which already includes publishers such as TouchLocal and Vivastreet.
The agreement gives Amra direct access to advertisers through the AdJug marketplace, which is currently achieving over half a billion ad impressions per month and growing fast.
Amra is a wholly owned subsidiary of the UK’s biggest publisher, Trinity Mirror, representing 274 newspapers throughout England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
It joins the 1200 publisher sites that are increasing revenues through AdJug’s greater choice, transparency and control on how ads are bought and sold.
As a result of the deal, Amra can now use the AdJug marketplace to define how much an advertiser pays for its ad space and get an authentic valuation of what that traffic is worth. AdJug’s depth and breadth of advertisers looking for quality traffic helps Amra to monetise its websites efficiently. AdJug’s contextual and intuitive targeting also delivers increasingly focused ads to relevant inventory space on Amra’s online sites.
David Cleave, head of online at Amra, comments: “In the time we’ve been working with AdJug we have experienced a noticeable increase in the monetisation of our inventory. AdJug’s team has developed a market-leading remnant exchange system that delivers additional functionality for publishers and advertisers, and I am confident that we will see a further increase in Amra’s return.”
Max Moore, VP publishing, AdJug, comments: “Amra has been eager to embrace the new advertising model that AdJug has brought to market. We have developed a strong, fruitful relationship and continue to evolve the contextual configuration of its portfolio of over 200 sites to ensure we maximise campaigns and performance for Amra and our advertisers.”
