DealtoPlay.com, online facebook style social community for casino and poker players has launched their own exclusive toolbar. A toolbar usually runs above your web browser and contains a search bar. DealtoPlay has taken this concept a step further and added more functionality to theirs.
When asked, DealtoPlay.com founder Lucas Goldman said "It's important for us to make the overall experience of our user as effective as possible. This toolbar differs from all others in many ways, the main one being that there are absolutely no ads and no ghost software." Lucas went on to say that there were many benefits. In point form:
Internet Radio: Perhaps one of the easiest to use internet radios available they say. It is in the toolbar so as long as you're browsing you could play music from any radio station around the world. With the easy to use search function, you could customize the radio station list with just a few clicks.
Email Checker with POP support: You don't have to depend on MSN messenger to tell you when you have a new email. You simply program your email accounts (hotmail, gmail, any POP mail) into the E-Mail Notifier and everytime you receive a new email, it will notify you. It also shows you the number of emails you have that are unread.
Weather: Your location is automatically determined and you receive local temperature and weather conditions live on your toolbar. When you click on the actual weather icon, rather than opening a webpage, a small non intrusive window is opened and you are given what you need and nothing more. The temperature now and a three day forecast.
There are other features as well they went on to explain such as an RSS Feeder preloaded with Entertainment News, Gambling News, Sports News and CNN Headlines. Lucas said "We want to give our users exactly what they need and not more, we don't want to be intrusive. This toolbar has just that and from our initial market research we see that if a person uses it for an hour, they will continue to use it, in addition, you don't even have to be an online gambler to use it, this toolbar is designed for use by everybody."
There appears to be positive feedback coming from users of the DealtoPlay.com Toolbar. Truth is, there are many toolbars out there, but most are made with the advertiser and not end user in mind. The DealtoPlay Toolbar loaded with only the needed features certainly makes the browsing experience much simpler.
