Mike James Scholarship Foundation Announces an Evening of Chance! Corporate Packages and Tickets Now Available
NBA star Mike James will host his Foundation's Fundraiser, "An Evening of Chance" at his private estate on June 28th, 2008.
Joining Mike for the fabulous evening will be several of his friends from the sports and entertainment industries. The evening will be filled with opportunities and surprises during which time attendees will be able to test their luck by participating in various games of chance. Founded in 2005 by Mike and Angela James, the Foundation provides a comprehensive array of youth development programs to empower its participants. These include mentoring, educational enrichment, college scholarships and nationwide youth basketball camps.
All of the proceeds from "An Evening Of Chance" will fund scholarships for local youth. “Although I am now with the New Orleans Hornets, Houston will always be my home. Mike further adds, “I have met so many kids whose dreams are to pursue a college education and I have vowed to make that happen. This event will help my efforts.”
