Wolverhampton, United Kingdom, 2008/05/23 - Newsquest Media Group Ltd has placed an order for NCS, the Circulation and Distribution solution from Press Computer Systems Ltd. The order to replace or upgrade the existing solutions covers all NCS modules, including Paid For (Newstrade).

The order to replace or upgrade the existing solutions covers all NCS modules, including Paid For (Newstrade), Direct Delivery, Subscriptions, Canvassing, Free Distribution and Leaflet Sales.
NCS will be Newsquest’s first national group wide solution, based on a common framework and will offer a single, centrally based, yet regionally tailored circulation and distribution solution. The fully resilient solution will be installed at one of Newsquest’s national data centres, with back up to another DR data centre.
With NCS already installed across a number of Newsquest centres, NCS offers proven interfaces to group accounting and payroll systems, the group-wide installation and consolidation of existing systems is under way and will see all NCS modules operational by end of 2009.
