Having experienced rapid expansion over the past few years, UK-based translation company Lingo24 now operates on four continents and has offices all over the world. With an ever-increasing portfolio including international companies, government agencies and other translation agencies, as well as a multinational staff spread from Panama City to Christchurch, New Zealand, and from Berlin to Tokyo, Lingo24 continues to develop a truly global approach to providing language services.
In line with the company’s objective of reinforcing its leading position in the translation market, Lingo24 recently appointed Jo Wotton as its new Head of Marketing. With 15 years of experience in the field both in the UK as well as the US, working for large and small companies, Jo will lead the efforts of the marketing team already in place and will work towards developing Lingo24’s global vision and strategy. Initial projects include tailoring the company’s services to precisely fit the needs of its customers, in addition to strengthening its market position as a major supplier of online translation services.
“Lingo24 is a great company, with huge enthusiasm and commitment to its clients”, says Jo Wotton. “I look forward to working with the team and fully utilising our talents and potential in the services we offer”, she adds.
Jo’s extensive expertise in the field of International Marketing and her strong track record in developing, implementing and managing Integrated Marketing Communications solutions in business to business and consumer markets make her a most welcome addition to the Lingo24 team of language enthusiasts.
About Lingo24
Lingo24 (lingo24.com) is one of the fastest-growing translation companies in the world, with operations in the UK and seven other countries worldwide. Founded in 2001, the company is a great case study for: e-business (90% of its customers find it through the Internet), globalisation (its business is a barometer of globalisation for British business, and the company itself has 'internationalised' in a short space of time), EU expansion (the company has its largest operation in Timisoara, Romania), green business (the company has a strict environmental policy and limited office use to minimise unnecessary travel), home-working (Lingo24 employees work from home more than 95% of the time), youthful entrepreneurialism (the company was established by a 22-year-old graduate of Oxford University).
