(OTCBB: SCUC), a health care information technology company based in Austin, Texas, is pleased to announce that CEO Dennis Nasto has been invited to speak at the 24th Annual Towards the Electronic Patient Record (TEPR) Conference in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. on Tuesday, May 20, 2008 at 5:00 PM.
Mr. Nasto’s presentation will address the challenges that health care providers face when implementing electronic health records (EHRs) and how the use of Sfax™, the first electronic fax record (EFR) for the health care industry, can combat the initial costs and behavioral burdens associated with EHR implementations. SecureCare’s Sfax serves as a bridge technology for EHR implementation.
Several key EHR vendors are in various stages of integrating Sfax and will deploy it as an added feature to their customers. TEPR 2008 will commence May 19, 2008 at the Fort Lauderdale Convention Center and include close to 2,000 attendees and approximately 100 exhibitors in the medical records and health care information technology industries.
