Los Angeles, CA, United States, 2008/05/08 - RPost®, the leader in managed outbound messaging with its flagship Registered E-mail® service suite, today announced that Carole Krechman has joined RPost’s board of directors.
In addition to Ms. Krechman’s experience in strategy and development of technology companies, she brings over 25 years of international development work with the United Nations and affiliated NGOs, as well as leading infrastructure development projects in Asia. Ms. Krechman is currently the managing director of Digital Directions Group, an investment and structured capital development firm.
“As we look forward to the next stage of development in cementing RPost’s Registered E-mail service as the global standard for accountability in business e-mail, we will be challenged with replicating our technology and services to meet the specific needs of countries around the world,” said Zafar Khan, CEO of RPost. “We have a foundation on all continents today and with Ms. Krechman’s development expertise we will continue to expand our global footprint to ensure the availability of this service worldwide.”
“I am thrilled to join the RPost board of directors, as I strongly believe that RPost’s Registered E-mail service is a must-have for every company across the globe,” said Carole Krechman. “In the last decade we've seen substantial conversion towards electronic communication that has created new issues and challenges for companies. RPost enables companies to mitigate their business risk and reduce costs – a universal need that crosses borders.”
RPost’s Registered E-mail service provides the sender with legal and verifiable evidence of who said what to whom, by e-mail. The core Registered E-mail services include proof of e-mail content, delivery and time-stamping; e-contracting; and e-signing. Advanced services include end-to-end encryption, PDF conversion and information leak protection, combined into one tool offered at a flat per e-mail price, which is about the cost of a postage stamp.
RPost recently launched SideNote™, a first-of-its-kind service that allows the sender to include private notes on Registered E-mail messages that are visible only to CC and BCC recipients. This innovative new product allows e-mail senders to manage private or sensitive communication, along with general group communication, in a single transmission, which eliminates the need to forward multiple copies of the same or new e-mail to various parties. SideNote delivers greater efficiency in electronic communications, helps to manage e-mail overload, and allows businesses to derive more value from their e-mail applications. SideNote is fully integrated into the Registered E-mail suite of services and is available at no extra charge.
