EducationDynamics, higher education’s leading marketer focused on student prospecting, enrollment and retention, has named presidents for its two fast-growing divisions. Andrew Gansler will head EducationDynamics’ Prospecting Services Division, home to some of the most visible education websites for students to identify schools and programs, including eLearners.com®, Gradschools.com and EarnMyDegree.com. Peter Kraft will lead EducationDynamics’ Enrollment & Retention Services Division, which combines an unprecedented suite of proven programs and tools that help post-secondary institutions increase student enrollment yield and student retention.
“Andrew and Peter are proven veterans serving the higher education market. They have a deep understanding of the recruitment and retention needs of higher education institutions, whether those institutions are for-profit, not-for-profit, undergraduate, graduate, on campus or online,” said Steve Isaac, CEO of EducationDynamics. “They will be a driving force in overseeing and managing the development and implementation of highly effective products and services for the higher education market, and in turn, accelerating EducationDynamics’ recognition as the industry leader in helping institutions find, enroll and retain students.”
Gansler, who will head the Prospecting Services Division, previously served as president of eLearners.com, the leading website for connecting students to online education opportunities. He originally served as an advisor to eLearners when it founded in 1999, and was later named chief operating officer in 2003. During his tenure, Gansler was instrumental in strategic planning and management as he helped lead the company from its startup phase through a period of record growth and expansion. eLearners.com was acquired by EducationDynamics in 2005
Before joining eLearners.com, Gansler spent more than 12 years as a management consultant. As a senior manager in Grant Thornton LLP’s entrepreneurial consulting services practice, he worked on strategic business, process and technology consulting projects for companies across several industries. He was also a practice leader for the firm’s Honolulu consulting practice. Mr. Gansler holds an MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business, and a BS in engineering from Lehigh University.
Kraft, who will lead the Enrollment and Retention Services Division, co-founded GoalQuest in 2000 to provide intelligence-based communication technology to educational institutions to help improve enrollment yield and retention. EducationDynamics acquired GoalQuest in 2007 and used it as the platform to create its Enrollment & Retention Services Division.
Kraft, who holds a business degree from Ithaca College, learned business operations and management while working for his family’s military and aerospace sub-contracting business. In 1993, he began gaining valuable expertise in the education field when he founded Link magazine, the most widely read college magazine in the country. Five years later, Link was acquired by CTN Media Group, later acquired by Viacom/MTV Networks.
Currently, more than 1,200 higher and continuing education institutions use EducationDynamics to help identify and recruit qualified students to appropriate programs, and to support them through graduation. The company’s broad range of marketing services include pay-for-performance inquiry generation, as well as web-based enrollment management tools that have delivered demonstrable improvements in applications, yield and retention rates for schools across the country.
