Garden Grove, CA, United States, 05/02/2008 - In a move to broaden credit re-issue capabilities and reach an expanded audience of originators, Provident Funding has joined forces with mortgage credit information provider Informative Research.

Provident Funding, a Burlingame, Calif. – based residential mortgage lender, recently added its name to the list of lenders participating in the Informative Research Affiliate Program. This program, launched in 2006, links lenders with credit reporting agencies and AUS/LOS technology providers. It streamlines the common practice of re-issuing mortgage credit information by creating a “network” of subscribers with standards of safety and accuracy.
According to Donovan Williams, Manager of New Business Development for Informative Research, the new alliance gives Provident Funding’s pool of broker customers more options for credit information re-issues, and will ultimately help the lender improve productivity.
“For Provident Funding, our Affiliate Program is a simple way to get maximum connectivity with minimal infrastructure,” Williams explained. “It lets their originators use credit information issued by Informative Research or one of its many affiliate subscribers, and it improves their visibility far beyond their current base. We believe these benefits are going to translate to more closed loans for Provident, and better service for Provident customers in the long run.”
The addition of Provident Funding to the Informative Research Affiliate Program enables originators who use subscriber credit reporting agencies to access Provident loan programs and rates. Since it facilitates the re-issue of credit information, the arrangement will also help originators protect and preserve their borrower’s credit scores.
