The Bikeweek.com Street Team is gearing up and getting ready to provide coverage of the 68th Myrtle Beach Spring Rally. More than 300,000 motorcycle enthusiasts will converge on the Grand Strand beach resort towns in South Carolina, May 9 to 18.
The Street Team’s promotions, photographers, writers and editorial staff will be there to provide a steady stream of daily news and event coverage, including feature story interviews with leading custom bike builders and riders, industry insiders and personalities, as well as street level coverage of, for and with rally attendees.
The Charlie Daniels’ 2008 Volunteer Jam Tour with Shooter Jennings and .38 Special will be rolling into Myrtle Beach for a performance at the new Hard Rock Park, along with One Nation and Kid Rock. The country's first and only Rock 'n Roll theme park officially opens in June with Eagles and Moody Blues concerts.
Other parties, bands and concerts include: Hard Rock Cafe - Broadway at the Beach - Super Swamp Heros - May 10; Hot Lava Monster - May 17; and The Endeavor - May 18. Broadway at the Beach is a themed entertainment complex with 10 night clubs, 15 restaurants and 20 attractions, including Ripley's Aquarium, MagiQuest, IMAX Discovery Theater, and other world-class amusements.
The club lineup includes Blarney Stone's upscale cigar bar, Broadway Louie's sports bar, Club Boca dance club, Froggy Bottomz with live bands, Malibu Surf Bar with DJ music , Crocodile Rocks dueling piano and party bar, Fat Tuesday specialty drink bar, Hard Rock Cafe, Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville live music bar, Revolutions Retro dance club, and Stool Pigeons beer pub.

Marshall Tucker with Swampdawamp - May 13;
David Allan Coe with DB Bryant Band - May 14;
An Evening with Travis Tritt - May 15;
Ace Frehley, original lead guitar for KISS - May 16;
and Jackyl and The Georgia Satellites - May 17

This will be the front row seat for those motorcyclists around the world who cannot attend. It also serves all motorcyclists who do attend to be able to “Relive the Ride” through digital publishing once they return home. The party begins with speed dating at SBB’s 4 Corners in Murrells Inlet, where there will be a tribute concert to AC/DC during Myrtle Bike Week 2008. The Dog House Bar & Grill promises to be one big party all week long, with performances by DB Bryant. Bikeweek.com welcomes media coverage requests.
