inTalent Consulting announces the Staffing Leaders Exchange (SLE), a national forum for senior staffing leaders of Fortune 500s and other leading companies. The purpose of the Exchange is to provide a forum for those responsible for talent acquisition functions to discuss critical trends and issues. The inaugural event will take place May 14-15 at Hotel Twelve in Atlanta.
"Up until now, there has not been a national forum for senior staffing leaders to discuss broader issues beyond executive staffing," said Susan Hailey, vice president of talent acquisition for Harrah's Entertainment. "The Staffing Leaders Exchange opens the door for networking on a national level, especially for those of us who are hiring large numbers of employees annually."
Each event will feature small group discussions about pressing issues, common problems and best practices. The May event, sponsored by AARP and O2 ideas, will focus on hiring older workers, leveraging staffing technology and employment branding. Those who attend the inaugural event will play a role in crafting the direction and setting the vision for future events.
“Most staffing associations are regional in nature, research-based or focused on executive search,” said Cindy Lubitz, managing partner of inTalent Consulting. “The idea for the Staffing Leaders Exchange came from staffing leaders who wanted a forum for discussing what keeps them up at night and key lessons learned in leading the function.”
