Her book, I Might As Well Be Naked: How to Survive Airport Screening With Your Clothes On, reveals how the flying public can breeze through airport security painlessly and stress free, even if you are a passenger with “Special Needs”.
Natalia Ippolito, a former Transportation Security Administration (TSA) Dual Function screener wrote the book to help what she saw as a vacuum of clear and comprehensive information for the nation's almost one billion air travelers a year. "I x-rayed thousands of carry-on bags, searched thousands of passengers and checked baggage and realized that many passengers traveling through our nation's 452 commercial airports are still clueless about what to pack, what to wear, and especially, what not-to-bring through security checkpoint".
The book details 369 tips and 119 of those tips for passengers with special needs. She makes the airport security process fast and stress free for everyone. Ms. Ippolito relates some humorous as well as serious personal stories of security breaches that no doubt will surprise even the most seasoned air traveler.
