Home buyers seeking an online source of information have a new option. HomeBuyingInstitute.com, a website packed with home buying tips and articles, recently joined the ranks of home buying “super sites.”
Brandon Cornett, a web publisher with a real estate marketing background, is the founder of HomeBuyingInstitute.com. To develop the website, Cornett screened home buying articles from a variety of sources -- some of it through reprint channels, and some from exclusive agreement with expert authors.
“It’s a cure for weary home buyers,” Cornett said, recalling his own first-time home buying experience. “When buying my first home, I had to visit a dozen websites to find the information I needed. I remember saying, ‘Somebody should roll all this up into one website.’ That’s what we’ve done with HBI.”
The website includes tips and articles on a range of home buying topics, such as:
• Preparing for the home buying process;
• Obtaining and interpreting a credit score;
• Finding a real estate agent;
• Creating a house-hunting checklist;
• Understanding the different mortgage types.
The site also offers an A-to-Z home buying glossary, mortgage calculators, real estate news and more. Cornett said that relevant articles and news stories are added daily.
HomeBuyingInstitute.com is one of the Internet's largest libraries of home buying information; more than 100 expert articles across 12 categories.
