RMS Networks, the digital media and marketing agency that develops, manages and delivers the most relevant video content to millions of consumers daily, has been retained by Republic Services Inc., to create custom videos showcasing its history, associates and management, philanthropy, and its new “green” corporate offices.
RMS was selected in February after debuting a video montage it produced on behalf of the Museum of Discovery & Science in Fort Lauderdale. The video acknowledged Republic’s $1 million gift to the museum’s $20 million capital campaign. Within days, Republic engaged RMS to create what became “The Mission Continues,” a marketing and promotional audio/visual program to celebrate the company’s 10th anniversary.
“RMS is an incredible resource with tremendous capabilities and creativity,” said Will Flower, Vice President of Communications with Republic Services Inc. “They’re skilled at interviewing key executives, capturing compelling images and producing a finished product that tells the tale by inspiring the imagination.”
The capstone to RMS’ current project list for Republic will be a documentary, informational video and video news release (VNR) on Republic’s new corporate headquarters. Scheduled to open in Sunrise, Fla., in Summer 2008, the new LEEDS-certified office will implement a variety of “green” features designed to enhance air quality, energy efficiency and water conservation. Rooftop solar panels will both gather energy and reflect heat. Low-flow and underground rainwater cisterns will reduce or replace fresh water for consumption, irrigation and rest room facilities. High-efficiency lighting and air conditioning will limit energy use. And environmentally friendly cleaning products and a broad recycling program will curtail overall environmental impact.
