Enhance Technology today announced new additions to the company's SMB market targeted EnhanceRAID R6, the R6 IP series, a 2U 6-disk based high-versatility rack storage system that delivers up to 6 terabytes of storage capacity, performance of up to 100 MB/sec throughput, high enough to support uncompressed video surveillance application. Protected in RAID 5 configuration running six (6+) SATA II disks, the R6 drives data via dual high bandwidth GbE ports and supports for Windows and Mac-based computing environments.

The architecture of EnhanceRAID delivers massive storage capacity, scalability, and versatility. The standard R6 IP-210 model comes 6 independent SATA II drive channels plus one additional NTFS based JBOD drive housed in an Enhance brand high-end rugged removable drive carrier for data transportation. The advanced R6 XP2100 offers expandability to eight (8+) additional SATA II drives via company’s patented SATALink bus, 2x350W redundant power supply for extra protection, and standard four (4x) high-speed & low-noise cooling fan modules for superior airflow within the unit, making R6 the total disk storage solution and the most versatile D2D rackmount storage system on the market.
Enhance web-based management and monitoring utility has been enriched with new features to make administration even easier.
