Wadebridge, Cornwall, United Kingdom, 02/22/2008 - Cornwall based writer and life coach Mary Lunnen is celebrating the publication of her latest book "Dare to Blossom: Coaching and Creativity".

Mary has been working on the book over the last year drawing on her experience of using life coaching herself and with her clients. She has combined this with exercises to encourage the reader to think creatively about how they would like their life to be – and then plan how to make this happen.
Jacky Pratt, a fellow life coach, comments: “Mary’s book is a fine balance between guidance and useful coaching exercises, with some lovely story-telling thrown in. She focuses on topics which are favourites of mine, like the value of gratitude and developing creativity, and she quotes many of my favourite authors. There is an inspirational section reflecting on her own personal journey from cancer to coaching. This is much more than just a ‘how to’ coaching book – it is a very readable story, benefiting greatly from the inclusion of her own personal learning from her coaching experience.”
Flying in the Face of Fear, Mary’s first book, was a compilation of women’s stories of their experiences of diagnosis and treatment for cervical cancer. Mary says: “Looking back, I can see that my cancer diagnosis was the beginning of a journey of personal discovery and growth. While it was a difficult and painful time to go through it took me in new directions and eventually has brought me to where I am today, enjoying a new life working with people to help them achieve their goals.”
Mary works one-to-one with people on the telephone across the UK (and around the world using Skype) and runs one-day inspirational workshops. She offers a free telephone consultation to anyone wanting to find out how life coaching could help them.
The next workshop in Cornwall is to be held at The Roses Holistic Centre on Saturday 19 April, followed by one at Millers Yard in York on Sunday 18 May. Mary published Dare to Blossom: Coaching and Creativity herself and signed copies are available direct from her. Alternatively, the book can be ordered online from Lulu.com. Full details can be found on Mary’s website.
