In January Verizon business launched a managed universal threat management (UTM) service aimed at mid-sized businesses and distributed enterprises in the US, Europe, and Asia Pacific. Verizon is entering a growing field of managed service providers with UTM offerings such as IBM, Megapath, NTT, and Orange Business Services.
