One company is taking big steps for people to help the environment in the category of bottled water. Park City Ice Water distribution partners Murray Anderson and Ray DeSylva are being asked to become vendors at state fairs, festivals and events to help promote their exciting new water packaging.
The distribution website listed below indicates that the company is working with organic, grocery and convenience store chains to carry this revolutionary new break-through in bottled water packaging. "We have found that one way for us to expose our exciting new product to a lot of people is at events. People come up to us and cannot believe how good the water tastes, and they feel good that they are helping the environment. All of us have to do our part and the landfills are filling up with plastic water bottles. Our impact is going to make a difference," Anderson reports.
Environmental websites report that unfortunately 4/5ths of all PET water bottles end up in landfills. The amazing thing about Park City IceWater packaging is that if it does get thrown away, it occupies 96% less space in trash cans and landfills. Like similar packaging, it is not bio-degradable but it can be recycled. The key answer is to those 4/5ths of bottles that end up getting thrown away. Finally there is an answer. A lot of people are recognizing how Park City IceWater's eco-packaging will help the environment.
Because Park City IceWater packaging becomes paper-thin when it is empty, one semi-load of empty Park City IceWater packages is equal to 27 semi-loads of hard plastic P.E.T. bottles. That is quite a difference. Being a bag product, similar to kids juice drinks but without the hole and the straw, the empty packaging just rolls up to a small amount. And it's fun to drink, just twist the top off and squeeze.
The key angle is that this packaging creates less pollution, reduces waste and protects our increasingly fragile ecosystem. Many people are very sensitive to “earth friendly” products and the press has been relentless at reporting the negatives in the bottled water industry. Some cities are actually banning bottled water from city offices, and adding a tax on the hard plastic bottles.
Unlike a great number of bottled water brands, Park City IceWater originates from a subterranean trapped melted glacier, located 2,300 feet below the rugged ski mountains in Utah.
Anderson and his partner, Ray DeSylva have been introducing this exciting new packaging at Hollywood events in Los Angeles and most recently at Super Bowl events in Phoenix, Arizona. DeSylva is currently in Las Vegas meeting with event planners that are excited about the waste management opportunities of this new packaging. Bands and concert venues have contacted the pair about going green and setting up eco-aqua bars at events.
“Everyone loves the taste of this pure water. It is not filtered tap water like other companies,” reports Anderson. Anderson added that people feel good about drinking Park City Ice Water. “They really feel like they are doing a small part to make a difference. Companies and organizations that care about the environment can once again give bottled water away at events and not feel so guilty in comparison to giving out P.E.T. bottles.”
Park City IceWater is extracted at a cold 41 degrees Fahrenheit through state of the art equipment thus ensuring purity and the finest quality. Park City IceWater is packed in flexible GlacierPak pouches rather than in plastic bottles. This environmentally friendly package consumes 96% less waste and requires 75% less energy to produce. This revolutionary and innovative product is the “GREEN” solution to the bottled water industry. The packaging is available for private labeling so companies and cities can promote their own eco-friendly green packaging.
The GlacierPak pouch is lined with a proprietary composite material that eliminates toxins from leaching into the water unlike the standard PET plastic bottle. The pouches have a “no spill” drinking spout and can also be frozen, which is a great advantage for outdoor activities. Plus you can freeze this water and not have to buy ice for your ice chest. Just let the GlacierPaks melt, and you have ice cold pure water.
Also Park City IceWater provides the perfect solution to health concerns with a natural 7.9 pH, which is a higher alkalinity. Other bottled water on your grocery store shelf is reported to have pH levels below the neutral 7.0 pH, some even being as low as 5.5 pH. Anything below 7.0 pH is likely acidic.
Anderson and DeSylva are available through their website for distributor, fairs, events, city, school and arena inquiries.
