Each year people make numerous resolutions for change. It may be to loose weight, get a new job, or to get into better shape. Before January is through, most people drop their resolutions unfulfilled and frustrated over their lack of change.
Dr Mick Sicre, Doctor of Chiropractic in Reston, Virginia, recognized this challenge with his patients and wanted to do something about it. Dr Sicre has lectured locally on wellness issues including possible health risks associated with vaccinations and other important topics that have helped families make informed choices about health care options. Seeing the need from people who want results in a variety of personal areas, but lack the context or knowledge to take effective action on that desire, he brought the new Body By God Challenge to the area. The first orientation meeting is Thursday night at the Reston YMCA at 7:30.
"People want to have a better life. Every year so many people make resolutions to have one, but they have no idea where to start. The results never come. The Body by God Challenge helps people break their dreams down into actions that are real. By doing that, we can make our goals real too." says Dr Mick Sicre of Active Family Chiropractic in Reston, Virginia.
The Body By God Challenge (bodybygodchallenge.com), hosted by Active Family Chiropractic, in Reston, VA and by others in over 50 locations nation wide, is intended to help others turn these resolutions into results by providing systematic approaches to improving nutrition, exercise, stress management and time management.
"This 40 day event can be viewed as a total mind, body, spirit makeover," adds Dr Sicre
Orientation is January 19th at 7:30 PM at the Reston YMCA. Those interested in participating can contact Active Family Chiropractic at 703 689-3500 for information on how to register.
