Charter members that post 50 or more auction items prior to the site’s launch will continue to have free use of the site in the future.
Enthused Media is soliciting individuals and corporate vendors to begin posting auction items at 2wheelsauction.com. All auctions will be automatically reset to begin on the projected launch date, March 1.
“We are launching the 2Wheels Auction in a big way offering free registration and no selling fees,” said Larry Oliphant, president of Enthused Media. “We want to make it convenient for motorcycle enthusiasts to connect with each other to buy and sell anything and everything related to motorcycles.”
New members who register at the auction site can elect to have a dual-membership at Bikeweek.com, which is also a property of Enthused Media.
“We’ve gone a step beyond what is currently being offered by online e-commerce sites,” said Dave Axel, the auction site’s creator. “We’ve given the seller the ability to post an item and set the auction to automatically restart until the item is auctioned off or sold. The seller can also use administrative tools to restart previously closed auctions. This is a big deal for people faced with reposting auctions in order to eliminate an inventory that includes dozens of the same item.”
A special auction coordinator is ready to assist large wholesale and retail vendors, who may have hundreds of items to upload to the site.
