Australian brand experience agency ABT is making one of the biggest moves in its 37-year history. The company’s Melbourne office has moved to a new three-storey, purpose-built facility at 6 Bond Street, South Yarra (Melbourne, Australia), directly across from its previous premises.
Several major business wins plus the establishment of its first overseas brand experience consultancy in Beijing, China marked 2007 as a very special year for the brand experience agency.
The expansion follows the experiential marketing specialists most successful trading year to date, which saw its staff numbers increase by 38% across its key business areas of Strategy, Creative and Production.
Coincidental with the move, ABT has also announced the appointment of Garry Wynne as Strategic Director. Most recently in strategic client-side roles with Optus and Telstra, Wynne brings a wealth of through-the-line communications experience from client and agency accounts in the UK, New Zealand and Australia. Garry will work across the firm’s Melbourne, Sydney and Beijing offices on a broad range of experiential marketing projects and events.
Talking about the agency office move, Antony Gowthorp CEO of ABT said: “With its own in-house theatre, AV production studios plus design and editing suites, the new building will facilitate the continued growth of our end-to-end brand experience consultancy and execution capabilities in Sydney, Melbourne and Beijing.”
ABT is a Photon Group company.
