Telligent, a Dallas-based company with a recognized history of developing enterprise social collaboration software, went live today with a new Web site geared toward supporting National Football League legends. NFL retirees such as Mike Ditka, Eric Dickerson, and Steve Young will initially use the new Gridiron Greats blog to communicate with fans and constituents during Super Bowl XLII.
• The new blog site includes interactive Web logs with retired NFL players, multimedia video, forums, site search, photo/movie galleries, and more.
• The Gridiron Greats will host a series of special events and activities during Super Bowl week to raise awareness and money and will report back to the fans about each event through the new blog.
• The team at Telligent was responsible for the development, creative, and mark up of the new Gridiron Greats blog.
• The Gridiron Greats Assistance Fund is a non-profit organization that provides financial assistance and coordination of medical and social services for retired NFL players and their immediate family.
