The product value of the contract to Unify is approximately $800,000, which will be recognized in the Company’s third quarter ended January 31, 2008.
Under the agreement, the bank migrated its existing Unify software based application to a new hardware platform, which will now be deployed to hundreds of new bank branches. The bank was able to migrate the Unify-based application to the new hardware platform in a cost-effective manner, as a result of Unify’s ongoing commitment to keep its software modern and easy to deploy.
“Our customers are secure in building a long-term strategy based on Unify products,” said Anatoly Belychook, president of Business Console. “The design and robustness of Unify software products makes it ideal to be used in mission-critical applications years after the software was originally released. Unify has proven to be extremely customer-focused and flexible, which is very compelling to our customer base.”
“This win demonstrates the strength of our core software business and our commitment to keeping our software modern and adaptable,” said Todd Wille, CEO of Unify. “The bank had the option to replace the Unify based application, but instead, chose to stay with the Unify solution, and in fact, expand the footprint of our products within its organization. We look forward to continued growth and success that benefits both companies.
