The forum, hosted at the World Bank by the World Affairs Council provided students with the opportunity to explore in greater detail the current situation in Darfur and the international response to the crisis.
The daylong program included presentations by leading speakers, question and answer sessions, and a simulation. The simulation displayed the difficulties of international cooperation and the complexity of international law and of the Darfur region. The Youth Forum also provided an expo fair for students to speak with representatives from organizations in the field and explore possible career options.
