Alphalogix, an IBM Premiere Business Partner today announced that they are the recipients of this year’s Lotus Award in the Best Portal Solution category for the 14th annual IBM Lotus Awards. Only one IBM Business Partner is selected annually for this award in recognition of delivering a solution leveraging IBM WebSphere® Portal.
Alphalogix was selected from a group of top IBM Business Partners from over 30 countries. The Best Portal Solution award recognizes a solution that leverages IBM WebSphere Portal software standalone or in conjunction with one of IBM’s five IBM Accelerators to create a dynamic internet, intranet, and/or extranet work environment. Rising to the top of the field this year, was Alphalogix’s Complete Enterprise Portal, integrating IBM WebSphere Portal, Lotus Quickr team spaces, Alphalogix Tasica Business Process Automation Solutions including IBM Lotus Forms, IBM Dashboard Framework, and Lotus Sametime. Using the Complete Enterprise Portal, Alphalogix helped Golden State Foods, a $4B global manufacturer and distributor in the food services industry for companies such as McDonalds and Starbucks, create a hosted intranet enterprise portal complete with business process automation, collaboration capabilities, dashboard technology and effective communication channels to enhance business efficiency between their departments and communication with their customers.
