By popular demand, Philadelphia’s own David Zee returns to the Grape Street Pub on Saturday, January 7, 2006 at 7:30 PM to play songs from his latest CD, Inner Peace.
In his online diary, Zee promises “a very special night” for fans attending the show and thanks them for their “support and love” as the new year begins. A practicing doctor who noticed many patients found songs as healing as the pen and prescription pad, Zee turned his attention to music and released his album in May of 2005. “Inner Peace” is currently available through Tower Records Online and iTunes. Zee’s backing band includes Jereme Jaffe (drums), Jon Mernyk (lead guitar), Bill Stewart (bass), Roseann Sarkisian (keyboards and backing vocals), and Jim Hamilton form “Allo Brazil” (percussion). Members of the ensemble have played with such well-known musicians as Gerald Veasley, Boyz 2 Men, and Grover Washington. The Jerry Lembo Entertainment Group, headed by music business veteran Jerry Lembo, consults Zee.
