Perceptive Software, Inc., today announced that Old National Bancorp (NYSE: ONB) is using ImageNow® integrated document management, imaging and workflow solutions to enhance accounts payable procedures.
ONB searched for an electronic document management application that would enable employees to retrieve documents immediately. Perceptive Software's status as a Lawson Technology and Solutions partner was a pivotal decision point.
"ImageNow's proven ability to integrate with Lawson applications was key in the selection process," said Doana Meeks, accounts payable manager at ONB. "Ease of use and advanced workflow functionality were also factors."
ImageNow's seamless integration with ONB's Lawson Accounts Payable software contributed to a rapid implementation that gave the organization a satisfactory return on its document management investment.
ONB employs ImageNow Fax Agent to capture incoming invoices that are sent from its branch locations via four fax lines. Faxes are automatically routed into workflow, where they are indexed, processed and sent to complete queues. ONB stores invoices, W-9s, vendor correspondence and all other accounts payable documentation in a central ImageNow repository. ImageNow security features, such as assignable user- and drawer-level privileges, ensure that these files are protected. If auditors need to view a certain file, ONB simply accesses it within ImageNow and sends it via e-mail, making the auditing process more efficient.
