The meeting assembles leading Institute research faculty and prominent financial practitioners from around the world.

Swiss Finance Institute Visiting Professor Darrell Duffie will present his research on credit default risk. Professor Duffie's ideas receive world-wide media attention, as do those of guest speaker Robert Rabinowitz, Director of Climate Exchange (Europe) Ltd, who will speak about financial innovations for curbing greenhouse gas emissions.

With a faculty already numbering more than 40 professors based at 5 academic institutions, the Institute is following an ambitious growth mandate from the Federal government and the Swiss financial services industry.
