Project OZ is an Illinois based non-profit organization that was selected by LogoBee as one of the recipients for a logo and stationery design package in the 2005 Logo Design Makeover Giveaway. This means that LogoBee donated their expert graphic design services to Project OZ free of charge.

It has been two years since that joyous occasion and Project OZ is busier than ever. This non-profit organization is constantly working with teenagers to help them stay away from destructive behavior such as living on the streets or joining gangs. This constant work ethic has led to their expansion. They have grown in many ways, including more residences that can be provided to runaways and more schools that have been added to their high school program.

According to Ellen Dietz their logo design is perfect to grow along side of their organization. “The graphic nature of our logo doesn’t confine us to a certain program or a small range; the logo can encompass all the changes we go through.” This worked out perfectly because Project OZ is constantly undertaking new projects. It is currently holding a talent show that is along the lines of the popular Idol TV shows. These types of activities are really popular amongst teenagers; it also encourages them to be creative and to have goals.

Mrs. Dietz realizes that Logobee is currently holding their annual Logo Design Makeover Project for this year and encourages other non-profit organizations to submit their entries.
