Colasoft Co., Ltd announces today the release of version 1.0 of “Colasoft EtherLook”. This is a professional TCP/IP network monitor for the Windows-based platforms, which enables the user to capture traffic transmitted over a local host and local network in real time.
With “Colasoft EtherLook” in place, you can address a wide range of network management and security challenges. The program lets you monitor all traffic circulating in the corporate network, diagnose network problems, and debug your own network application.
In creating version 1.0, the Colasoft team has put much emphasis on building both the easy-to-use user interface and powerful monitoring ability. Customers will discover the data concerned from the view Nodes, IP, TCP, UDP, Email Messages, Web and Logins. Besides supporting long-term traffic monitoring and multi-subnet Intranet configuration, the program also allows customizing subnet address/mask and offers the Resolve and Change Host Name options.
The unique Scope Explorer enables customers to switch from the statistics of the entire network to a specific network node conveniently.
Colasoft EtherLook features the Traffic Analysis Module that enables the administrator to capture all network traffic in real time. Additionally, Colasoft EtherLook has E-mail, Web, and Login analysis modules for exposing illegal activity, employee abuse in the corporate LAN. With the E-mail module, the administrator can capture an e-mail and restore its contents including sender, recipient, subject, protocol, etc.
Also, the Web module allows detailed tracking of Web accesses from the network. What's more, the Login module analyzes all data logins within the network and records all related data.
