Fashion for Friends combines the work of world-renowned designer Carlos Arturo Zapata with Friends of the Orphans, an organization dedicated to improving the lives of orphaned, abandoned and disadvantaged children through the support of the Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos (NPH) network of orphanages in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Ridinger will be the star of a special Zapata catalog that will be distributed at the event which features her modeling the famous designer’s sophisticated and upbeat collections. Ridinger will also walk the runway with Zapata in a one-of-its-kind, specially designed dress. Over 400 of the catalogs will be circulated at the event, free of charge thanks to a donation from Ridinger.

The event will take place at The Ancient Spanish Monastery, the oldest building in the western hemisphere. It was originally built in Segovia ,Spain in the mid-1100’s and was dismantled stone by stone in 1925 and reassembled in 1953 at North Miami Beach. Live music will be performed by Warner recording artist Nazareno Andorno.
