The new offering evolved as Octagon incorporated document standards from its eCTD JumpStart™ offering with its StartingPoint® submission authoring templates within the ViewPoint® enterprise process management environment. By mobilizing processes through ViewPoint and utilizing existing document management capabilities such as check-in/check-out and version control, ViewPoint for Document Management offers the structure and standards required to support the entire document lifecycle, from authoring through to submission.
ViewPoint for Document Management is available in two models. The traditional install/implementation model for deploying ViewPoint continues to be a popular choice. The new hosted model eliminates installation, hardware and validation costs and provides a connection to Octagon resources.
